Funny enough, I just had a very good couple of thrift stores reintroduced to me a few days back, by which I mean a very savvy stylist took me to these stores—which I had previously been to and shopped in several times before but had also entirely forgotten they existed because of, I don't know, my brain? the pandemic?—and I made out like an absolute bandit. And part of me was thinking "well yeah, she knows what she's doing and it's easy to go thrifting when a pro is grabbing stuff for you," but like, back in the day, I would spend HOURS scouring thrift shops for the good shit.
So thank you for this additional reminder that the next time I'm in need of a retail-therapy dopamine hit, I can also take the time, slow down, and mine for gold. (And by "gold," I mean an impeccably fitting brown leather jacket for $35.)
Slay
Loved this, and LOVED the boots, omg! They are badass!
Who has the link to the boots?
Whew, I love the idea of thrifting as meditation.
